The preconference on Transmedia Storytelling has been a great success: for one day 33 researchers will be discussing around one of the most fascinating phenomena of contemporary media ecology: transmedia storytelling.
In one week we’ll be in London! We have just upgraded the preconference program: this is the final and definitive version!
The preconference will be held in Hilton Metropole Meeting Rooms 16 & 17. The registration will start on Monday, June 17 at 08.15.
This a real international preconference: researchers come from Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Estonia, Germany, Italy, Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, The Netherlands, UK and USA! I hope didn’t forget any country. If I did, I apologize!
On Sunday, June 16 we’ll meet at 06.00 PM in the lobby of the Hilton Metropole to start networking!

As you prepare for London, please keep in mind the audio/visual components that you will need for your presentation.
Bring Your Own Laptop
Each meeting room is equipped with an LCD projector, with a laptop connector cord. We’ll try to copy all the presentations in one laptop to avoid wasting time.
Using a Mac?
Make sure you have a Mini DisplayPort or DVI to VGA adapter to ensure that your laptop can connect to the projector. If you have specific questions on presentation times or formats, please email your division chair as formats vary across sessions.
If you’re coming from outside of the UK, please bring the appropriate converters for your equipment. Guests at the Hilton can acquire an adapter during their stay from the hotel with a £10 deposit. Those staying elsewhere can purchase an adapter from UK outlets at Heathrow airport (at Dixon’s Travel, Add+, Excess Baggage Company, or Boots), or at a Maplin Store located near the conference hotel.
